If you have spring or summer allergies, you probably have looked into an air filtration system for your environment. It's commonly known that the air inside a home, for example, is much more congested and polluted than outside air. Unless you are able to somehow exchange all the air in every room a few times per hour, all those dust mites and dead skin cells floating in the air will never leave. That is, unless you use some kind of filtration system.

Phoenix Mechanical can help you decide what would be the best configuration of filtration products for both your home and your budget. We can offer simple solutions such as upgrading your existing filter of retro fitting your systems with a new upgraded model. When using pleated filter media to clean the air, the rating system you want to remember is referred to as the MERV rating. This rating system works on a scale of 1-20. To give you an idea, most common furnace filters carry a MERV rating of 3-7. In today’s market, is possible to get up to MERV 16 ratings in your filters. The chart located to the right will give you a better understanding of how the MERV rating system works.
